For beginners and advanced skiers classic and skating
Spend a breathtaking winter vacation all about biathlon and cross-country skiing in the Antholz Valley. In different cross-country skiing courses you refine your classic or skating technique on the world cup tracks. In the biathlon courses, organized by the Ski School Antholz, you will learn how to handle the biathlon rifle and learn different shooting techniques (detailed program follows). You will follow in the footsteps of the many world champions who have already won at the Biathlon Center Antholz. Become a guest in one of our cross-country specialized accommodations in the Antholz Valley and enjoy unforgettable vacation moments.

Program
Program and course times
Saturday:
Arrival and evening
18.30: Welcome of the participants at the hotel
Sunday:
10.00-12.00: Meeting point in the ski school office directly in the biathlon center, adjustment of ski equipment, division into groups and ski lessons with correction of running technique
12.00-13.30: lunch break
13.30-15.30: Biathlon lessons, entering the shooting range, visiting the shooting targets, explaining the biathlon rifle and its regulations, learning the different shooting positions prone/standing with resting pulse
Monday and Tuesday:
10.00-12.00: cross-country skiing course, refining the running technique, practicing and running in the stadium and on the World Cup tracks
13.30-15.30: Biathlon course: refining the shooting techniques, (shooting with resting pulse and under load), running with guarantee, learning the up and down of the biathlon rifle, and lastly, prone shooting like the pros, with arm belt and on cardboard targets, so everyone can see their shot.
Wednesday:
Morning: free time for each participant
13.30-16.30: snowshoe hike with alpine hut stop
Thursday:
10:00-12:00: Cross-country skiing course, repeating the already learned running techniques and learning further steps.
13:30-15:30: Biathlon intensive course, same as cross-country skiing, repeating and refining the two shooting positions, running with rifle/shooting, running/shooting....
Friday:
10.00-12.00: cross-country skiing with final correction of the various steps.
13.30-16.30: Biathlon course, followed by Biathlon Gaudi race among the course participants. Conclusion with short sitting together, review of the week, award ceremony, farewell to the participants by the biathlon instructors.
Saturday:
Departure
Possible changes to the programme and course times may be made due to weather conditions or other reasons, which will be discussed with the participants on site.
If there are less than 3 participants, the programme will be changed and shortened!
